Artists: Sergei Bugaev, Oleg Kotelnikov, (E-E) Evgenij Kozlov, Timur Novikov, Vadim Ovchinnikov, Inal Savchenkov, and Ivan Sotnikov
Andrey Kurmayetsev “Mertvyi‘s“ portrait was mistaken for a work by Evgeny Yufit.
Several works are probably joint works, and one of the works in Bugaev's section is presumably by Andrei Krisanov.

In comparison to Stockholm, the number of participating artists was considerable lower in Liverpool, as was the number of works displayed by each of the artists.
Ksenia Novikova’s “Chronicle” of New Artists events, printed in the New Artists exhibition catalogue of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, 2012, p. 279, lists the following artists for this exhibition: Bugaev, Kotelnikov, Novikov, Gurjanov, Ovchinnikov, Savchenkov, Kozlov, Egelsky. In this way, there are some discrepancies with the Bluecoat's photo-documentation, as the the pictures from the exhibition show six works by Sotnikov, who is not in the "Chronicle" list, but none by Gurjanov nor Egelsky.

Note: Wall labels use the Swedish spelling of Russian names, adopted from the exhibition "De Nya från Leningrad / "The New from Leningrad" at the Kulturhuset, Stockholm, 1988 – the first venue of this exhibition tour. more>>
