Sergey Kuriokhin appreciated E-E's art and collected many of E-E's painted photos. For Kuriokhin's LP Cover of Pop Mekhanika "Insect Culture" E-E photographed Alakhov, Veritchev and Kuriokhin in specific urban spaces of Leningrad to manifest the spirit of the city. Using a medium format film his technique of creating additional features with scratching becomes particularly clear.
