E-E Evgenij Kozlov: Exhibitions
The Kozlov Collection “2x3m”
|
About my photo-documentation: The fifty-eight slides constitute the most comprehensive documentation of this outstanding art project, presenting not only the event itself, but also the preparation work. I published the photos in chronological order. In this way, the viewer can follow the process of realising the exhibition. It starts with assembling the paintings in Ivan Movsesyan's studio and continues with their installation on Palace Bridge and the opening of the bridge – where they could be seen on the early morning of 23 July, 1990, between 1.00 a.m. and 2.00 a.m. –, and, finally, sees the exhibition being dismantled and the works taken away. A selection of prints was exhibited in March 1991 at the Planetarium, Leningrad / St. Petersburg (see previous page), and in October 1991 at the large St. Petersburg Art Festival “Les Allumées” in Nantes, France more>> . Dmitry Egorov Here is D. Egorov's comment on his work sent on 12 April 2019: |
